Simplifier Mobile may be downloaded by the public from an app store, but use of the service is intended for authorized users, employees, contractors, customers, or other approved users who have been provided valid Simplifier credentials.

  2. Why we collect personally identifiable information and the legal basis for such collection;

  • Device and app information, such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, device identifiers, diagnostics, logs, and related technical information used to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
  • Push notification information, including mobile device tokens, notification status, and related delivery information used to send service alerts, messages, reminders, and other operational notifications.

In addition, Impresst may have the occasion to collect non-personal anonymous demographic information, as well as the type of browser you are using, IP address, or type of operating system, which will assist us in providing and maintaining superior quality service.

Location Information We Collect

We collect precise location information when you use Simplifier Mobile. This helps us offer features like clock-in/clock-out, arrived/depart updates from your job site, job and task updates, route tracking, and periodic location updates needed for approved business operations.

How We Collect Location Information

Using Simplifier Mobile, we use foreground location services to collect clock-in/clock-out, arrived/depart, job update, and task update information when you use those features. We may also use background location services to send periodic GPS data and track your location while approved business location features are active. Simplifier Mobile asks for location permission before collecting this information.

Why We Collect Location Information

Our users use Simplifier Mobile to send and receive updates about shifts, jobs, schedules, and field work. We use location information to verify where and when updates were sent, support time clock records, record arrived and depart activity, help manage job site operations, and keep track of routes and work progress.

Why We Collect Information and For How Long

We are collecting your data for several reasons:

  • To better understand your needs and provide you with the services you have requested;
  • To authenticate users and maintain account security;
  • To support job management, scheduling, purchase orders, messaging, file uploads, time clock, and field operations;
  • To deliver push notifications and service communications;
  • To fulfill our legitimate interest in improving our services and products;
  • To contact you regarding account issues, support requests, service updates, or security matters;
  • To comply with legal, accounting, security, and contractual obligations; and
  • To customize our website and mobile app according to your online behavior and personal preferences.

Account and Data Deletion

You may request account deletion or data deletion by emailing support@impresst.com. After a valid deletion request is received and verified, data is retained for 90 days before complete deletion, unless a longer retention period is required by law, security, dispute resolution, accounting, backup, fraud prevention, or contractual obligations.

Use of Information Collected

Impresst does not now, nor will it in the future, sell, rent or lease any of its customer lists and/or names to any third parties.

Impresst may collect and may make use of personal information to assist in the operation of our website and mobile app and to ensure delivery of the services you need and request. At times, we may find it necessary to use personally identifiable information as a means to keep you informed of other possible products and/or services that may be available to you from https://simplifier.impresst.com/.

Simplifier Mobile does not display third-party advertisements. If device identifiers or advertising identifiers are made available by the operating system or app platform, they are used only as needed for app functionality, security, diagnostics, service delivery, or platform requirements, and not to serve third-party ads in the app.

We may use third-party service providers to operate, host, maintain, improve, and support our website and mobile app. These providers may include Expo, Google Play services, Firebase or Google notification services, hosting providers, app store providers, and other technical vendors used to deliver the service. These third parties may process information only as necessary to provide their services to us, support app functionality, deliver notifications, process diagnostics, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations.

Impresst may not use or disclose the information provided by you except under the following circumstances:

We do maintain and reserve the right to contact you if needed for non-marketing purposes, such as bug alerts, security breaches, account issues, support requests, and/or changes in Impresst products and services. In certain circumstances, we may use our website, mobile app, email, or other public means to post a notice.

Children under the age of 13

The website and Simplifier Mobile are not directed to, and do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from, children under the age of thirteen (13). If it is determined that such information has been inadvertently collected on anyone under the age of thirteen (13), we shall immediately take the necessary steps to ensure that such information is deleted from our system's database, or in the alternative, that verifiable parental consent is obtained for the use and storage of such information. Anyone under the age of thirteen (13) must seek and obtain parent or guardian permission to use this website or mobile app.

All users and visitors to our website have the option to discontinue receiving communications from us by way of email or newsletters. Impresst operations are located primarily in the United States. If you provide information to us, the information will be transferred out of the European Union (EU) and sent to the United States. By providing personal information to us, you are consenting to its storage and use as described in this Policy.
